Annual Environmental Leadership Awards Nomination Form

We are now soliciting nominations for these awards in the following categories:

  • Individual: may be a resident or worker in the City of Newton
  • Group or Institution: in the city of Newton
  • Business: in the city of Newton

Criteria: All award nominees must meet at least one or more of the criteria listed below:

  1. Have expert knowledge of an environmental issue
  2. Have a record of leadership in an area of environmental concern or a record of working as a "change agent" promoting environmental improvement
  3. Have undertaken a current exemplary action on a small or large scale which could serve as a model for others
  4. Have a commitment to an area that is a special priority for the Green Decade Coalition
  5. Be active inside and/or outside Newton in environmental leadership
